Well said. I’ve never understood why as a collective we feel the need to sort ourselves into factions. The finance girl, the fashion girl, the fitness girl, the foodie girl. Human beings are squiggly, can’t we be them all?

I agree. When I was really into social media I used to create multiple accounts and slice myself into sections as to not confuse what I used to think was my audience, turns out it was really the algorithm. Here on Substack I at first made a few newsletters but over time realised that I no longer wanted to split myself like that. I merged everything into one and made a few sections, but everything is in one place. I feel so much better for it.

I do have "a schedule" of sorts, but I put no pressure on myself to post on the allotted days if I don't think I or my article is ready.
